Synergy FC arrives at US Club Soccer National Championships

The Synergy FC U17 Team arrived in Virginia Beach, VA on Wednesday July 28. On Thursday July 29 the team checked in at Hampton Roads Soccer Complex, which is the site of the 2010 US Club Soccer National Championships.

The team held a training session from 10:45am-12:15 pm which included light physical training and technical work as well as some finishing inside the final third. The players had four water breaks during the session as temperatures reached 100 degrees on the field.

Thursday night was a team dinner at the team hotel followed by a light jog and stretch before the players headed for their rooms.

Group play begins on Friday, July 30 at 2:30 pm.

The U17 Super Group is comprised eight regional champions divided into two groups of four teams. Each team will play three group stage matches with the winner of the group advancing to the National Championship title game on Monday, August 2.
