Under-10 Academy

The Under-10 Academy is where the youngest players in the Synergy Football Club system are trained and developed into the stars of tomorrow.
The Academy curriculum is designed to thoroughly cover all technical aspects of the game. The mission of the Academy is to produce technically superior players that are highly confident with the ball and are prepared to play on a Synergy Premier Team.
Maximum touches, a strong emphasis on technical perfection and fun small-sided games will be the objective of every training session.
The U-10 Academy players will train twice per week and play one match per week during winter training which runs from November thru April.
The U-10 Academy Players will train twice per week and participate in several (8-10) friendly matches or "jamboree/festival" events during the spring and early summer which runs from mid April thru Early July.
The U-10 Academy will be comprised of approximately 8-24 players depending on the depth of players available each year. U-10 teams play 8v8 outdoor games so the roster size limit for a Synergy U-10 team will be 10-12 players.
The Synergy U-10 Academy is considered a top priority in the club. Every Academy player will be given the best possible training and playing opportunities and will also be partnered with an older (U-14 or above) Synergy FC player who will serve as a football mentor throughout the year.
Only players that demonstrate a special aptitude for playing and learning the game will be selected for the Synergy U-10 Academy. Even though the main priority of the Academy is having fun it is not a recreational program and will require commitment on the part of the player and parent(s) if positive results are to occur.
